The Kimberley
Western Australia

The Kimberley, WA

The Kimberley region is spread over Australia’s entire north-western corner and is one of the world’s last wilderness frontiers.

Stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife, pristine beaches and true outback experiences – all in one of the most remote parts of Australia.

A true bucket list destination – The Kimberley has it all, and is home to the Boab Tree, housing one of the key ingredients in our Australian Gin.

The Boab Tuber

Adansonia gregorii

The Boab Tree – such an iconic sight in the Australian outback. Instantly recognisable.

The massive and bulbous trunks help the tree preserve water and survive the dry season.

However, what we use is the young tree’s tubers. These are crunchy and have a similar texture to water chestnuts. They are almost our secret ingredient in Gindu as the tubers complement, help bind and accentuate the other botanicals making the Boab Tuber a key part of Gindu.

An Australian Gin

Subtle juniper combined with floral notes of lemon and lime from Australian botanicals, balanced with a delicate herbal, earthy palate and a lingering spicy finish. A gin that will embrace a light tonic.

Gindu is about discovery. The chance to discover more of our great land, be inspired by stunning landscapes, and savour unique Australian botanicals. Our inaugural distillation is our first step in roaming far and wide, and to include the botanicals that appeal through their flavour profile and amazing stories.

This isn’t just our gin, it’s yours.
